Get to Know Me
Born and raised in Cumberland, Maine, Sam is a local who has spent much of his life learning the ins and outs of real estate and home improvement. After graduating from Greely High School in 2011, he moved to San Diego to pursue a career in firefighting at San Diego Miramar College. Upon returning to Portland, he transitioned into real estate, purchasing four single-family homes and becoming a full-time landlord. Recognizing the potential in home renovations, Sam began remodeling dozens of properties across the Portland area.
In 2017, Sam joined Keller Williams Realty, where he honed his skills and passion for real estate. His journey took him to Chicago in 2020, where he worked with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices at their Michigan Avenue office. There, he gained valuable experience in the unique aspects of Chicago’s real estate market and quickly excelled. In 2024, he launched his own home remodeling company, successfully completing over 30 condo and home renovations in its first year. His hands-on approach, working directly with clients and translating their needs to his construction crew, became a key driver of his success.
Driven by his love for the ocean, Sam and his wife Jessica returned to Maine in 2025, where they purchased a home in Cumberland. Now back home, Sam has joined RE/MAX by the Bay with the David Banks Team, where he combines his extensive real estate experience and passion for remodeling to deliver exceptional results to his clients. When he’s not working, Sam is an avid scuba diver, having explored underwater landscapes in over 15 countries and across the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Oceans.
